Carissa Fisher grew up in Santa Clarita, CA as an outdoor adventurist. She loves camping, boating and hiking. When she wasn’t outside or partaking in her favorite water sports, Carissa was at the dance studio. She was on the dance team while attending Saugus High School. Carissa graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelors of Science degree in Health Science: Community Health Education. Carissa always had a strong passion for helping others. Her father inspired her to pursue the medical field after battling chronic illness. She completed a Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical program at the University of Southern California where she was introduced to the profession of a physician assistant. From there Carissa pursued her Masters of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona . After a few years in Arizona she was ready to return to sunny Southern California to pursue her dream career as a physician assistant.
Carissa enjoys spending time with her fiance, friends and family in her spare time. Attending sporting events and concerts are some of their favorite activities to do together.
